Nigerian Senator, Loses First Daughter

A Former Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigerian, Bukar Baba Ibrahim, has lost his daughter, Aisha (Ya Ummi).

This is contained in a statement by Yusuf Ali, an aide to the former senator Bukar Abba Ibrahim which was made available to Newsmen.

The statement described the passing away of Aisha as painful,  shares in the grief of the Bukar Abba family at this moment.

“This is to announce the demised of Aisha (Ya’Ummi) the eldest daughter of Senator (Dr.) Bukar Abba Ibrahim who passed away at early hours of today in Cairo Hospital, Egypt after a protracted illness.

“While the burial arrangement is currently ongoing at Cairo, Egypt, reception for condolences and prayers for the soul of the decease is organised at Senator (Dr.) Bukar Abba Ibrahim resident No 13A Owena Close, Off Yedseram Street, Maitama, Abuja.

The statement added that other arrangements for the 3th and 7th Fiddau prayers would be announce by the family. May Allah forgive her shortcomings and grant her Jannatul firdaus. Ameen.

“It is painful losing one’s daughter. I pray that Allah (SWT) will grant her soul Jannatul Firdaus and give the family the fortitude to bear this huge loss,” the statement said
