A New Way to Exit Public Office

If President Muhammadu Buhari (PMB) wants to demonstrate his seriousness in the fight against corruption, seal his “Integrity” and endear himself to Nigerians and demonstrate his qualification for the African Anti-Corruption Crusader, he should pass an Executive Order, compelling every Public office holder (appointed or elected) including Mr President himself, to exit office in the manner of Ayodele Peter Fayose, by voluntarily turning themselves in for investigation. With all of them presumed guilty of having helped themselves with our Common Wealth, until they can prove their innocence.

We people struggle to earn a living, but immediately they assume Public office, they turn Millionaires or Billionaires overnight. Yet, we say we are fighting corruption.

If PMB does this, he don’t have to campaign much again, to secure his second term, and take the Anti Corruption battle to the highest level ever imagined by anybody.

Anyone that opposes this proposal, we know where he/she belongs.
