The Nigerian Football Supporters Club (NFSC) has installed Chief Felix Anira and the Delta state PDP Chairman, Kingsley Esiso as its National Patron and Russia 2018 Ambassador respectively.
The event took place at a reception in Sapele, as part of the club’s strategic plans to boosts its presence at the June 2018 World Cup in Russia, all for the senior national team, theSuper Eagles of Nigeria.
While installing Chief Felix Anira and PDP Chairman Kingsley Esiso as National Patron and Russia 2018 Ambassador respectively, the National Chairman, NFSC, Rev. Sam Ikpea noted at the event that his team has put in place adequate preparation in readiness to storm Russia in few weeks time. He said the club is putting everything in place including modernizing the musical tools to produce the victory sound at the world cup.
Reacting to the honour done on him, the awardee Hon. Felix Anirah was optimistic, said he is confident that the Super Eagles will get to the semi final of the World Cup.
“This set of the Nigeria Super Eagles will make us proud. I have confidence that the Senior National team will qualify from the group stage to the semi final of the Russia 2018, FIFA World Cup”.
“With God and our support as football loving Nigerians, we shall return victorious and it will be sweet victory all the way”.
It would be recalled that, team Nigeria is grouped alongside Iceland, Argentina, Croatia in Group D of the 2018 FIFA world Cup.
